I missed the call and checked my voicemail later, and it was just like what others have mentioned. They kept saying it was urgent and that if I paid up, I wouldn’t be sued. They used my name and my social security number, saying there was some complaint filed. Definitely sounds like a scam to me.

Got a voicemail from someone saying something like "Victoria Carter...Civil Statement of intent before action...Civil Judgement lawsuit...you have been informed." I tried looking up the number but no luck tracing it. Honestly, I can't figure out what real case this could be about. The message sounded off with some stuff about civil procedures that didn't seem right, made me pretty sure it was a scam.

Got a call on both my mobile and landline from some scam artists trying to trick me with a recorded message about urgent "legal" documents related to a court case. They kept saying if I didn't respond, the case would move forward. Problem is, they didn’t know my name, any ID number, or provide a case reference. Told them to jog on and blocked their number straight away. Absolute rubbish, don’t fall for it!
