I’ve discovered that this number belongs to Adrian Flux insurance brokers. I suspect it’s their claims department’s contact. I noticed a charge of £27.79 on my phone bill for a chat lasting 30 minutes and 21 seconds.

I've noticed this particular number appearing twice on my detailed bill - first as an access fee and then again as a service fee. Both charges are outside my inclusive allowance, resulting in an £8 fee. Another number that’s cropped up is 08447480013. Just a heads-up, neither of these digits ring any bells for me, and interestingly, on both occasions, I was airborne on a long-haul flight, so there was no way I could have made any calls.
