I'd say avoid talking to this debt collector altogether. Best thing is to report them to your local cops and lodge a privacy complaint.

Proper cheek, that one. Got a call asking if an address from over a decade ago was mine. When I asked for their name, the bloke said he was Hugo from some RP something-or-other. I told him straight up to stop ringing me ever again. That’s when he turned all aggressive, going on about having the right to call me. I told him no, making those unwanted calls is harassment and illegal, and again, to never ring me once more. He kept babbling, so I just hung up and blocked the number. Later, I looked the number up and stumbled across this site. Didn’t get to hear why he was calling, but judging by what others said, they seem to chase debts that are way past their expiry date.

Got calls from some debt collectors about debts I barely remember from yonks ago. Just blocked their number straight away!

They keep ringing me up loads even though it’s not me they wanna speak to. I haven’t got any of the debt they keep mentioning.

Active Capital debt collectors are the worst! They call non stop, like 10 times a day. I reckon it doesn’t matter if they’ve got the wrong person or not. If you pick up, expect them to ring even more. Best thing to do is just block the number and don’t bother answering. They don’t give a toss about who they’re hassling and clearly have no legal grounds. Honestly, they just get paid to harass folks, so don’t engage with them at all.

PRN, formerly known as Aktiv Kapital, are hassling me about a debt they bought back in 1999, which actually stems from 1997. I told the original lender I'd sort things out straight with them if they took the debt back, but they wouldn’t have it. So yeah, it's just been sitting there untouched for nearly 20 years.

Got a call from some bloke threatening me, saying I had to cough up or else. I just chuckled and told him to give it a go. This supposed debt is from like 14 years back... when I was locked up. Hilarious really.
