Today, on February 23rd, I received a phone call from an unfamiliar number. Since I was anticipating some important calls that could potentially come from an 800 number, I decided to answer it. However, I missed the opportunity to catch the caller's identity. What struck me as odd was the fact that they mentioned the call was being recorded. The purpose of their call was to solicit donations and arrange for collection by their truck. However, I couldn't shake off the feeling that their intentions were dubious due to their recording request. My suspicion was that they might be trying to capture individuals' voices for alternative use.

There is a continuous pattern of receiving repeated calls where the person on the other end abruptly ends the conversation after saying hello.

Could you please refrain from contacting me? These individuals persistently make multiple phone calls throughout the day. On most occasions, they remain silent and abruptly end the call.

I received a call too. They didn't leave a message. I'm completely clueless about the identity of this phone number.

However, if they can't even be bothered to leave a message, then it's likely to be either a telemarketing company or some kind of scam.

I don't trust any caller who doesn't at least introduce themselves.
