I received a call that had an artificial-sounding voice on the line. They purported to be from BT, looking into some fraudulent malware issues. I promptly ended the call, as it was clearly a scam attempt. It's quite absurd that BT doesn't act swiftly to terminate these calls after the first complaint. They ought to allocate some of their seemingly pointless marketing efforts towards ensuring a safer experience for their loyal customers who are already footing the bill.

I received a rather menacing message claiming that if I didn’t press a certain button right away to get in touch with BT, I’d be facing a serious fraud allegation that could lead to grave repercussions. Quite alarming, to say the least!
