I got a call from 240-200-8420 and some guy with a thick middle-eastern accent started saying I was involved in some sort of legal trouble for tax evasion. Honestly, what he was saying didn’t add up at all. When I asked a few questions, he quickly got all aggressive and rude. He then went on to warn me that the local cops would be at my place to arrest me in about 30 to 45 minutes after the call.

Got a voicemail from someone saying her name was Michelle. The message was pretty much the same each time. She ended up calling me about 4 times in total.

I got a call from someone calling herself "Christine" saying she was from the Internal Revenue Service. She told me there was a case opened against me and if I didn’t ring her back straight away, I’d be arrested. Honestly, it sounded like a total scam and her English was pretty hard to follow because of a strong accent.

Got a call from someone pretending to be with the IRS’s Federal Investigation Department. They said there’s a case against me and if I don’t ring back before the day’s over, they’ll take legal steps. Total scam, obviously.
