Absolutely frustrating! I just told those action fraud folks about it, someone else mentioned it maybe an hour ago or something.

Don't bother blocking these calls cos they just ring again with a new number. Best thing is to report every scam call and number to the police so they can add it to their system. The only real way to put a stop to it is by getting these crooks caught. The police do team up with other countries to go after these gangs (except Russia, whose gangs are basically run by the state). They do manage to make arrests but gotta focus on the places with the biggest problems since resources are tight.

Absolute scammers! I’ve switched my phone to send all calls from numbers I don’t know straight to voicemail. Got calls from this number and a few others, all with similar digits, ringing between 12 and 3 in the morning. My phone was on do not disturb, so they couldn’t get through. Beware of Wangiri fraud - it’s really risky. If you ring back, your phone charges will shoot up massively! There’s a link here to ‘Action Fraud’ at the top, which is the official police site for reporting all dodgy calls. Just hit the ‘reporting’ tab and pick the phishing report bit. You’ll need to scroll down a bit past the stuff about scam emails to get to the report form. Let’s all be careful out there and make sure we report every single one of these irritating scams to protect ourselves and others. Stay safe!
