Blocking these calls is pointless, they always ring again from another number. Some phone companies even let you block only a certain amount of calls before the feature stops working. Make sure to report every single call because they're trying to scam us. There was a post earlier today explaining how to handle this stuff. Stay careful out there, everyone.

Ever since 6pm yesterday evening I’ve been getting nonstop calls, about 43 so far. Every time I block one number, they just call from a new one. It went on all night and I eventually had to switch my phone off just to get some peace. But the moment I turned it back on, the calls started all over again. All of them seem to be coming from somewhere in central Africa. It’s driving me mad. They ring a few times then hang up, clearly some kind of scam, but the constant ringing is really getting on my nerves.

It was one of those wangiri scams where they ring then quickly hang up, just trying to get you to ring them back. Whatever you do, don’t call them back or you’ll end up paying a crazy premium rate.
