Just like a few others have said, I got loads of calls from this number and a bunch of others that looked the same, all through the night. My phone says they’re coming from the Central African Republic. I saw someone else mention calls from Portugal too, which I’ve had as well. I’ve put these numbers straight on my block list now, but honestly, I’m a bit worried I might’ve missed out on my slice of some long-lost royal’s cash! 😂😂

Got a call from +23622782439 around 11.44pm on Saturday 18th July, then loads more kept coming through all night but the last digit kept changing (+23622782437, +23622782432, +23622782435 - all numbers from the Central African Republic). Definitely don’t bother ringing them back, it’s some kind of scam. Seems like O2 users are the main target for these dodgy calls.

Got calls from this number and a couple similar ones, just the last digit different, ringing twice each time in the middle of the night before they cut off. Looked up the number and reckon they're probably just dropped calls. I've gone ahead and blocked them now.

Got multiple calls last night from 5 different numbers, all starting with +236, which I think is from Central Africa. They rang around 7 times over nearly 3 hours in the wee hours. Didn’t pick up and no voicemail was left. Seems pretty dodgy to me.

I got a ring from this number, looks like it’s from Central African Republic. They only rang once then hung up straight away. From what I found online, these calls seem like scams trying to trick you into calling back so they can charge loads. Best thing is to never ring back! Definitely do some digging if you get calls from CAR. I just blocked it right away.

Got loads of calls this evening, all pretty quick, and the caller ID said Central African Republic. They've been switching up the last number a bit each time. Seen numbers like +23622782435, +23622782439, and +23622782432 pop up.

Got a ring just after midnight at 00:11 but it hung up straight away. Pretty sure it was a scam. I've blocked the number now.

Had another call like this just now, my phone first rang from a Portugal line so I blocked it straight away, then the same thing happened with this new number. A quick search on Google reckons it’s one of those dodgy scams to charge you crazy fees just for calling back. I’ve blocked this one too. Hopefully the next one doesn’t come through, but if it does, guess I’ll have to block that one as well. Fingers crossed it stops soon!
