Woke up to a couple of missed calls, one at 1:08 and another at 2:06, but the second was from a slightly different number. I've gone ahead and blocked the 020 prefix now.

Weird thing is, my missus got a couple of calls from this number - it showed up as coming from the Central African Republic, then a different call came from what looked like a Portuguese number! Both calls were dead early in the morning! Definitely odd timing and suspicious.

So basically, these wangiri scams are where you get a missed call from some dodgy number, then when you ring back, you get stung with crazy expensive charges. It's better to not bother calling back at all! These scammers are just after your cash. Just so you know, +236 is from the Central African Republic. Honestly, I wish these scammers would just get what's coming to them, proper nasty slow payback would be fair.
