Got some calls from +23622782435, +23622782432 and +23622782438 just after midnight, all from the Central African Republic. Absolutely no idea who these rude people are, giving me grief at that hour. Proper annoying!

All day yesterday and through the night, I kept getting calls from what seemed like the same number but with the last three digits changing every time. I counted about 27 calls! I keep blocking them but they just come back with a new variant. I’m really fed up now, hope they finally give it a rest.

In the early hours today, 19th July, I got multiple calls from numbers with different endings, even after I'd blocked the initial ones.

Honestly, blocking these calls is pointless. Thieves just keep ringing you from loads of different numbers if they're not caught. Plus, some phone networks only allow you to block a certain amount of callers, and after that, the block won’t always function properly. Make sure you report every suspicious call to the police database - check the info above and below on how to do that. The UK police do cooperate with forces abroad to tackle this rubbish, but with their tight resources, they mainly focus on the scams that get reported most. Do your bit and report these calls!

I woke up to about 6 missed calls overnight from +236 22 78 24, though the last couple of digits kept changing a bit. Decided to block every number. Thought it was over, but then around half an hour later, I got another ring from +236 21 89 12 21. Blocked that one as well. Thankfully, I haven’t had any calls from any +236 numbers for the past 6 hours.

Had a phone call wake me up in the middle of the night. They rang me 3 times, about an hour apart each time. My phone flagged the number as a scam. Best just to ignore it.

This number called me twice; I answered the first but they just went quiet and hung up, the next time it barely rang at all. Also got calls from a couple more numbers from Central African Republic, similar but one finished with a 7 and the other with a 9. Pretty suspicious, I reckon.
