Just listened to a voicemail from a 121 number wishing me a happy birthday, which was spot on as it actually was my birthday today. The weird bit was, the voice didn’t sound familiar at all, so I haven’t a clue who it was from.

Got a call from someone speaking Chinese saying they were from DHL. They kept saying they tried to drop off a package but couldn’t get it to me after a few attempts. Sounded a bit off to me.

Got scammed! My phone rang from a number not saved in my contacts, so I suspected it was dodgy and muted it, hoping they'd just leave a voicemail if it was legit. Not long after, I got a text from 121 claiming I'd received a voicemail, with a link to listen to it. Thing is, my iPhone always alerts me immediately when there's a voicemail waiting, and I hadn’t seen any notification. Plus, voicemail alerts usually pop up way quicker than the delay it took for that 121 message to arrive. Definitely a scammer trying something sneaky!

I received a call from 01218231089 today regarding some kind of pendant we can wear for emergency situations at home. They mentioned it would cost £1.33 a day, which adds up to almost £500 a year! I received a rather suspicious call from 01212746848. The person on the line claimed to be connected with a call-blocking service from back in 2019. They were quite insistent on finding out my date of birth, but I declined to share that. Then, bizarrely, they asked for the expiry date on my card, which raised alarm bells for me, and I decided not to engage any further. I've had my fair share of scam encounters and I'm not about to hand over personal details to someone I don’t know. If you're in a similar position and feel uneasy, just don’t feel pressured to respond to their queries.

All the numbers listed here show up as Unknown for me as well, but the calls keep coming. I’m careful not to visit any dodgy websites or pick up calls from strangers, but I’ve still received what I reckon are risky calls from loads of different numbers, like +245966134404 on 26/07 and +359899912816 from Bulgaria on 09/07. It honestly makes me a bit nervous.

Got a call from 121 even though I never got any missed calls before that. It rang once last night and then three times this afternoon. When I answered, all I could hear was some sort of background noise.
