I can hardly believe it - what a complete con! I've noticed a sneaky £18.50 lumped onto my phone bill from some dodgy quiz linked to Sainsbury's, promising vouchers. It’s absolutely infuriating! There ought to be measures in place to prevent these unscrupulous individuals from exploiting regular folks like us. It's downright revolting!

It's absolutely baffling! My mother found herself slapped with a staggering £70 fee for what’s supposedly a 45-minute call made from her mobile to this number, and she swears up and down that she never dialled it! They certainly didn’t ring her, and she definitely didn’t reach out to them. How on earth does that even make sense? Sadly, it seems that getting a refund is off the cards, as the mobile provider deems any call over a mere 2 minutes to be legitimate. It’s infuriating that there seems to be no means to trace these crooks down!

I've just received a rather hefty bill, and it seems I've gone over my direct debit limit. Upon examining the charges, I've noticed a call from 09115628451 that has cost me £50.31. I definitely didn't initiate that call; if memory serves me right, they rang me up to peddle some sort of voucher deal. I had no inkling I would be charged for their call since it was them reaching out to me! I'm planning to ring up BT, although I doubt I'll find much resolution. It's utterly baffling how one can be billed for receiving a phone call without any consent - it feels like a complete con!

I honestly would never have dialled this number on a Sunday afternoon, 27th August 2018. They ended up charging me an extra £22 in just 3 charges. I spent about 15 minutes complaining non-stop before finally getting my money back. Just got totally scammed by these lot.

I’ve just been hit with a £69 bill for my mobile, all because I called a Marks and Spencer Quiz I spotted online. What a dreadful con! Thankfully, my phone provider has refunded £40 as a gesture of goodwill, but I’ve had to block all Premium numbers now. I had no clue I was dialling a premium line... and to make matters worse, I’ll need to block international calls as well. I’m absolutely flabbergasted and feel completely taken advantage of... it’s like I’ve been robbed!

What a right swindle this is! I was drawn in by a promise of winning £300 in Marks and Spencer vouchers through some dodgy quiz. I was hooked for a bit, but then was struck by a nagging suspicion and decided to hang up. Upon further inspection, I noticed some sneaky fine print at the bottom of the last page revealing that they were charging a whopping 99p for every minute I was on the call! Lo and behold, my phone bill has now shot up by £29.60! Do yourself a favour and steer clear of this ruse!

What a rip off! My neighbour wanted me to ring this number from my landline, so I did without thinking. I assumed it was a call to family and ended up chatting for about 4 minutes. Now I’m worried about the bill, don’t even want to guess how much it might be. After this, my neighbour won’t be borrowing my phone again. 09115627386 I rang Virgin Mobile about this number because my phone bill suddenly shot up. They said it was a mistake on their end and confirmed it was one of their numbers. They promised to refund me. Later, when I looked at my bill again, I found they've now started investigating it since I never dialled that number, and my partner’s phone shows no trace of it either. I told Virgin if they don’t sort this, I’ll be charging interest on top of any fees owed, and they said they’re fine with that.

My partner took part in what looked like a quiz on Facebook, claiming to be from Morrisons. It turned out to be a clever ploy with questions made to trap her on a costly premium number. It wasn’t until around twenty minutes after the call dropped that she noticed £48 had been drained from her balance. I contacted Three, our network, who were understanding but could only advise blocking premium rate numbers directly on the phone. Honestly, the people behind these tricks are just scum.

I've had a really frustrating experience with the 0911 exchange. I got a bill showing calls to 09115628452 that I never actually made, and it came to £51.71! After searching online, I found loads of others complaining about being billed for calls they didn’t place to this same 0911 exchange. Most people say their phone companies don’t want to give refunds easily - and when they do, it’s usually just a one-time thing. My provider, TalkTalk, only gave me back half of the £51.71, which at least was something. But seriously, this exchange needs to get its act together.

On the 7th of April, 2017, I got an afternoon call from a chap with an Eastern accent, asserting he was from Microsoft. He declared, "This is Microsoft, and we've detected an issue with your computer that necessitates online assistance." To which I responded, "My computer's perfectly fine, thank you very much-my son works in IT." At that point, the other individual abruptly ended the conversation. Later, I noticed a charge of £5.14 on my BT bill.
