Got hit with a £39.22 charge on my phone from something called iphone winner - total rip-off! What a nightmare.

On 10th August, my mobile bill showed a £25.01 service fee and a £14.20 access fee, but I never actually called that number. The bill even says the call lasted 30 minutes and 19 seconds, which is bizarre!! Surely there must be some way to challenge these sorts of charges... It’s really frustrating and worrying to see this on my statement.

I just got a text saying I've won a free iPhone, but it's clearly another scam going around. They even want you to log into your Facebook, which is a huge red flag - don't give them your details! Plus, the number they send the message from is premium rate, so watch out for possible charges.

Total rip-off! Someone managed to get into my Facebook and tricked me into thinking it was Apple. After filling out a survey, I gave away loads of personal info and even bought something with my card. Had to get my bank card cancelled straight away. Just a heads up for everyone, watch out!

Out of the blue, I got an email claiming to be from amazon, saying they had been trying to contact me. Since i buy from them quite often, I opened it without thinking. Shorty after, I get a text saying I've won a prize and to ring a premium number. Don’t fall for it, it’s just a trick to make your phone bill skyrocket.

I just got this message from someone called “winner” saying I’ve apparently won a prize and that I should ring 09115627386. It’s really frustrating since I never took part in any contest. There’s been a couple of calls on my bill from this number, one costing £25 and the other £12. I don’t remember picking up this number at all, especially not early in the morning on 23/12/17 at 7am. Honestly, I was pretty worried to see such a high charge showing up on my mobile!
