They promised a debit card worth £1000, but only if I provided my shipping address and completed a brief survey. The message even included photos and names of supposed previous winners, which made it seem more convincing. But then, they wanted me to call a specific number for final confirmation. Thankfully, I had the sense to steer clear! It’s a dreadful scam perpetrated by the most unscrupulous individuals. It’s infuriating, and something ought to be done to tackle these fraudsters. Take heed, everyone-don’t fall for this nonsense; the only winners here are them!

I've blocked this number ages ago, but I still get missed calls from it like 3 times daily. When I try to block it again in my settings, it says it's already blocked. Honestly, I'm baffled and really fed up with the constant annoyance from this caller.

To the person who posted before:- How come you can't just block this number? I can block most calls on my BT landline using Call Protect, and also on my Apple iPhone by choosing “Block this number” or “Block this contact,” even when it’s a number starting with 09 (Premium Rate). Is there something different about these 09 numbers that stops the blocking from working? I can't really test it myself as I don’t think I’ve ever had a call from an 09 number. Maybe you could have another dig into whether it’s actually possible to block those? ;-)

My partner got calls from this number saying she’d won Cadbury’s treats and lottery tickets. Today she missed a call then got a text saying she’d won a Samsung phone and needed to claim it. The block option wasn’t available as usual and the number didn’t even show in the call log. Any advice? Also, a warning popped up on her phone about junk files and had a button labelled CLEAN. I told her not to press it as I’m pretty sure it’s some kind of virus.

Like a few others, I put my info in to get some free makeup samples but only got a text from this number telling me to call to finish the order. I didn’t call as I always check numbers first. When I checked the comments on the Facebook post for the makeup, loads seemed to be deleted, maybe people called it a scam but they don’t want that out there. Fingers crossed they don't start charging me, they keep texting and I can’t work out how to block 'em.

I got roped into some “quiz” thing where you had to type in answers to win a Benefit Cosmetics hamper - even when I put in wrong answers it still said stuff like “You’re ace at this”.
