I never actually called this number, but apparently on 11.06 I got charged £35 each time, twice, which adds up to £84 including VAT. I’m with Virgin Media, and I’m definitely going to sort this out because I didn’t make these calls.

I just got my phone bill through and it shows FIVE calls that were supposedly made by me, and the total charge is over £424! I don't even recognise the number, never mind making FIVE calls to it. No way am I shelling out that much to BT for these calls!

This number also scammed me, i ended up paying 79.78 through O2. It's ridiculous! Does anyone here know a way to fix this? How do they manage to pull this off without any consequences?

It seems I've been hit with a £125 bill for what they claim are three calls! To be honest, I hardly ever touch the landline because it’s just far too pricey, so there's no way I would’ve dialled a premium number in the daytime. How on earth do they manage to bill like this? Is there really nothing we can do about it?

I did a search for ESA and came across this number at the very top. It has led me to shell out £40 due to my spending limit. It's incredible that these con artists are preying on the most vulnerable amongst us.

I had something similar with Sky Mobile. They reckoned I made a call, but actually it was an incoming one that I quickly ended after a few seconds since there was no one on the other end. Yet on my bill it showed a 1-minute call and slapped a £45 charge on me. No matter how much I argued, Sky just kept saying I was the one who dialled out.

They say I made calls amounting to more than £60 from my landline, but we barely ever use that phone at home. This charge just doesn’t add up.

Somebody used my home phone number and then I got hit with a £35 charge on my Virgin bill. Thing is, I don’t even have a landline, just the internet. When I told Virgin Media, they sent an engineer round to check it out and then billed me £25 just for the visit. Feels kinda unfair to me.

In just an hour and a half, we got hit with five calls, each lasting exactly 11 minutes and 6 seconds, which is kind of weird. We never even picked up any of them, yet it ended up charging us £35 for each call. The total on our Virgin Media bill was a whopping £175. We're sorting it out with them now, but figured I’d share this to warn others who might get caught out too. We've also reported it to Action Fraud. Such a mad situation!
