Earlier today at 1 o'clock, we received a rather urgent message requesting that we give them a call, providing a reference number. Has anyone come across this lot before? Just curious if anyone knows who they might be.

Just got a call from 6a6vat 1625, so I’ve gone ahead and reported it to the info commissioners at http://www.ico.org.uk/. Definately worth putting in a complaint about these numbers, cause I reckon they’re not proper 0871 ones making legit money or summink.

While I was in France on holiday, I got a message like the one mentioned here around 15:42. The caller ID showed 7779086017. It was the same number to ring back, with the identical reference given.

Got a text asking me to ring back right away and mentioned something about 6991**. Haven’t the foggiest who it could be.
