I phoned back from my landline and got a recorded message charging 10p a minute. Didn’t hang around for a transfer, if it was really urgent surely a person would pick up? Also, no missed calls showed up on my phone. Seems dodgy to me.

Like many others, I just got a message claiming it was "urgent" and that someone needed to talk to me today about my order. I haven’t seen any calls or texts on my phone, which I always keep with me. The message came from a different number, 07454829823, but I can’t find any info on who that might be.

Got a message from +44 7454 911372 saying: "IMPORTANT! We've been trying to reach you. Please call 08719119042 today and mention ref 905776. Cheers." Like the person before me, I didn’t have any missed calls on my phone or landline. Plus, they didn’t even include my name in the message, which made me think it was a dodgy scam, so I just ignored it.

Got the same kind of message from +447454829823 saying it was urgent to talk today and to ring 08719119042. I thought it might be genuine since I've had similar texts allegedly from my bank’s fraud team before. Still, something about this one feels off, so I’m not gonna bother ringing back again.

Got a text saying it was urgent and they’d been trying to get hold of me, even though I hadn’t missed any calls from that number. The message said it was important to talk today and asked me to ring a certain number. I called it from my landline, and an automated voice came on saying the call would cost 10p a minute from BT, then asked me to hang on while they connected me to someone. I didn’t bother waiting for anyone to pick up.
