I've recently acquired a new mobile phone, and as it stands, none of my contacts are aware of the new number. I'm currently with Vodafone. Out of the blue, I received an MMS claiming it was URGENT and that they had attempted to reach me regarding something significant. They even provided a reference number: 993176. The thing is, I have no outstanding debts and I'm not expecting any deliveries, so I can’t help but feel this is nothing but a scam. I quickly did an online search to get to the bottom of it. Would really appreciate it if these nuisances could be put to a stop. Cheers!

I received an alarming call yesterday claiming it was urgent and asking me to ring back on 08719119046, along with a reference number. Initially, I thought it was a legitimate call, so I tried getting through a few times, only to be met with a repetitive automated response and background music stating all operators were busy. It's become crystal clear to me that this is a scam; after doing some research online, I've confirmed my suspicions. I strongly advise others to avoid the same trap I fell into-just disregard the message altogether. I've likely lost money from returning their call, and I certainly won’t be trying to contact them again.
