So, I was in London and my credit card got declined, right? Then, outta nowhere, I got a text telling me to urgently call this number 0871 9119048. Figured it was from my bank or something, so I dialled it. Ended up on hold, and it cost me 50p a minute! Feeling proper daft now. Pretty sure it’s dodgy. Does anyone know how to block these scammy calls?

Received a message from 07454739026 saying it was really URGENT and they needed to talk to me. The text asked me to ring 08719119048 and mention reference 697756. Luckily, after checking this site, I found out it was just a scam.

Got a call on this number today just after 4pm. My phone wasn’t picking up signal earlier, so when I finally saw a message saying it was URGENT! I got really stressed out. I tried ringing back three times but ended up being stuck on hold for like 5 mins each time. They kept telling me all their 'staff' were busy. Important message says they’ve been trying to reach me and that I need to call back today... but I never got any calls, only a text. If it was really urgent, why wouldn’t they just ring me straight away instead of texting? Feels like a total scam to me!
