I've received over twenty calls from this number in just the past half hour, despite having explicitly asked them to remove our details from their list. We're registered with the Telephone Preference Service, and I knew straight away it was a scammer on the other end-he claimed to be calling about issues with our computer from Windows. I've chosen to ignore the incessant ringing and allowed the answer phone to pick up instead. In my frustration, I even let out a good loud whistle down the line. Eventually, I found myself yelling at him to just b****r off! It seems he's deriving some sort of twisted pleasure from the whole thing, as he just keeps on calling and calling. Honestly, I'm thoroughly irritated, especially as I'm trying to keep my phone line free for updates on my mother, who's currently in hospital.
