We experienced a similar issue for a couple of days. Turns out it was all down to a nearly depleted battery in the ADT alarm system. Once we swapped out the battery, those annoying calls went away.

In the past month, I've received a staggering 180 calls from this number, each costing me 10 pence and lasting precisely 7 seconds. So far this month alone, there have been 110 calls! Thankfully, Talk Talk are already addressing the situation! It's quite a relief!

I can totally relate! Every single day, without fail, I receive a call from this number that lasts precisely 7 seconds. The peculiar thing is that it seems to ring at a time that increments by a second each day; for instance, if it rings at 06:49 today, tomorrow it’ll be at 06:50. This bizarre routine has been going on for over a year now, racking up to around £36 annually at 10p a call - not a huge amount, but incredibly irritating! I've raised this issue with Talk Talk repeatedly, yet they’ve done absolutely nothing to address it. Strangely enough, I don't even have a phone set up in my home, as I only keep a line for my internet connection. So there’s simply no way for me to initiate these calls! It's a relief to know I’m not alone in this madness; for a while, I genuinely thought I was losing my grip on reality!

A mate of mine has got a British Telecom line that seems to ring this number, 0871 200 5094, every single morning at precisely 3:11 am for a brief spell of about five seconds. Oddly enough, it's his phone making the call whilst he's fast asleep, racking up an extra charge of 12.5 pence on his bill. He’s reached out to BT, but they’re insisting it’s not an issue and have been utterly unhelpful! He even showed me his bill along with a letter he's sent to them. The strange bit is, his computer’s switched off, so I’m at a loss as to how this could be happening. Could it somehow be his router? I really can’t fathom how that would work.
