I just received a call from 0845 602 7641, supposedly from HSBC. The chap on the line couldn’t provide any valid details about HSBC or even his location. He offered me a number to ring back that purports to be HSBC as well, but it isn’t featured anywhere on their official site. Sounds very fishy to me!
