Got an automated message saying to call them back because they thought there might be some fraud happening. Pretty suspicious if you ask me.

I've been getting incessant calls from this particular number, and it's really starting to get on my nerves. It turns out it’s just a recorded message, which I've heard is linked to some dodgy scam! Could someone please help me out and block this number? The caller claims to be from TSB Bank.

Just a heads up, if you get a ring from this number, it’s likely one of those shared cost calls. Best to avoid returning it, or you might end up paying more than you think.

I recently got a rather suspicious text from the number +447860035286, claiming to be from my bank, TSB. It stated that they had detected my TSB debit card ending in XXXX being used online on 12-04-2016 at 20:44:22, with a charge of £40.96 for a purchase at IPIC BETHESDA WEB TICKET 4445013763821. They requested I confirm whether I had made this transaction by replying with either 'Yes' or 'No'. After I responded with 'No', I received another message almost immediately. This one thanked me for indicating that I didn’t recognise the charge and mentioned they would call me today between 09:00 and 21:00. If I didn’t hear from them during that time, they advised me to ring them on 08453561055, or they’d contact me in the morning. Upon digging into some reviews afterwards, it’s become clear to me that this is a classic fraud attempt aimed at stealing my identity and banking details. Moreover, I’ve been bombarded with calls from unknown numbers lately that I’ve deliberately chosen to ignore. I strongly urge everyone to be wary of this number-it’s definitely a SCAM! DO NOT ENGAGE with it.

Got a voicemail from some bloke saying he was from the fraud team at TSB, but he used the wrong name. Didn’t pick up, but it’s clearly a scam trying to get your banking info. I’m about to call TSB myself to let them know about this number. Better to be safe!

Got a call from a recorded voice, said it was from TSB bank. They were asking for someone not living here, saying their debit card might be used fraudulently. There wasn’t any real person to speak to, just an automated message. Honestly, it felt dodgy to me, like they’re trying to find out who owns this phone number for scammy reasons.

I have no clue who gave me a ring.

Received a call from this number a staggering ten times on the 1st of February, 2016. The initial ring came through at 8:22 in the morning, and the last one was around 7:42 in the evening. Unfortunately, our answering machine wasn't operational at the time, so we’ve since decided to block the number entirely.
