Got a text from +447860035286 saying my TSB debit card ending in XXXX had been used online on 12-04-2016 at 20:44:22 for £40.96 at IPIC BETHESDA WEB TICKET 4445013763821. They asked me to reply Yes or No to confirm if it was me. I replied No, and straight away got another message saying thanks for letting them know I didn’t recognise it, and that between 09:00 and 21:00 they’d call me. If not, I should ring 08453561055 or wait for a call the next day. After checking some reviews online, I’m convinced this is a scam trying to get my personal info. I’ve been getting loads of calls from unknown numbers lately and avoid answering them. Please be careful and don’t return calls to that number - it’s definitely dodgy.

I recently got a rather suspicious text from the number +447860035286, claiming to be from my bank, TSB. It stated that they had detected my TSB debit card ending in XXXX being used online on 12-04-2016 at 20:44:22, with a charge of £40.96 for a purchase at IPIC BETHESDA WEB TICKET 4445013763821. They requested I confirm whether I had made this transaction by replying with either 'Yes' or 'No'. After I responded with 'No', I received another message almost immediately. This one thanked me for indicating that I didn’t recognise the charge and mentioned they would call me today between 09:00 and 21:00. If I didn’t hear from them during that time, they advised me to ring them on 08453561055, or they’d contact me in the morning. Upon digging into some reviews afterwards, it’s become clear to me that this is a classic fraud attempt aimed at stealing my identity and banking details. Moreover, I’ve been bombarded with calls from unknown numbers lately that I’ve deliberately chosen to ignore. I strongly urge everyone to be wary of this number-it’s definitely a SCAM! DO NOT ENGAGE with it.

Got a voicemail from some bloke saying he was from the fraud team at TSB, but he used the wrong name. Didn’t pick up, but it’s clearly a scam trying to get your banking info. I’m about to call TSB myself to let them know about this number. Better to be safe!

Got a call from a recorded voice, said it was from TSB bank. They were asking for someone not living here, saying their debit card might be used fraudulently. There wasn’t any real person to speak to, just an automated message. Honestly, it felt dodgy to me, like they’re trying to find out who owns this phone number for scammy reasons.

Got a voicemail from some supposed TSB bank saying my mate’s debit card - who doesn’t even live here - is being used and they need to ring an 0845 number. Seems dodgy to me; banks usually have accurate info and wouldn’t call like that. Feels like they want someone to ring back so they can link a proper name to the number. Classic scam, if you ask me.

this number called me like 10 times today and left a voicemail saying they're from the fraud squad or sumthin, bit fishy if you ask me, dont pick up!

Received a call from this number a staggering ten times on the 1st of February, 2016. The initial ring came through at 8:22 in the morning, and the last one was around 7:42 in the evening. Unfortunately, our answering machine wasn't operational at the time, so we’ve since decided to block the number entirely.
