After getting a text from this number saying it was the bank, I rang their official number from the website to check. Turns out, this number really is from them. They told me that someone tried using my card, so they’ve blocked it and are sending me a new one now.

We got three calls from this number but never answered. After that, we called TSB and got transferred to their Fraud Team. They said that the number does belong to them and there had been weird tries to access our account from Brazil. When we spoke with them, we confirmed we were definitely here in the UK, not Brazil.

This morning I got a call asking me to ring them back to check the number. I didn’t follow their instructions though - I instead contacted my bank directly. I dialled the TSB fraud hotline on their 0800 number and spoke with someone there. They told me straight away it was a scam. Just a heads up: scammers might call and tell you to return their call to 'verify' things, but they actually keep the line active so it sounds believable when you ring back. Stay careful!

I got a call from this number around 10 in the morning on a Sunday, but then they kept ringing at all hours, day and night. The person claimed to be from Lloyds TSB Fraud department, which isn’t true because Lloyds and TSB are separate banks now. Neither of those banks have anything to do with this number or these calls. I picked up this call early this morning, still feeling pretty groggy, and it said it was from the TSB fraud team. Since my card got blocked around 4am, the automated voice asked for my birth date and then mentioned that some transactions had been declined. It asked me to verify myself by confirming three random transactions. I went along with it without really thinking much, but after seeing these comments I decided to ring TSB’s actual fraud department. They told me it was a genuine call from them, so I reckon there’s no cause for worry.

I've been getting calls from this number nonstop. I picked up once and they claimed to be from the Fraud team at Lloyds TSB. They said my name and even mentioned the last four digits of my card, which freaked me out. Then they asked for my birthday and that's when I realised it was dodgy and ended the call. I called my bank straight after, and they said they never use that number. Seems like a scam waiting to happen, if you ask me.
