This number called me today telling me they urgently needed to speak with me and gave a reference number that matched others I’ve seen reported here. I didn’t see any missed calls or voicemails so I got suspicious straight away. I looked it up online and it definitely looks like a scam, especially since the same ref number keeps coming up for loads of folks. Best not to call it back!

Got a random message from 07463 562347 saying something like IMPORTANT! We’ve been trying to get hold of you, please ring 08445715181 with reference 788610. Oddly enough, my ref number matches one someone else mentioned here. I never reply to these random texts, they’re obviously spam. They just blast these out to loads of numbers hoping someone bites, and if you do call or text back, you just get flooded with more rubbish. Just bin it!
