I got a call from 08443570445, some nonsense about a tax refund or something. I tried ringing them back and they wanted all my personal stuff like my address. I refused to give anything. They put me on hold and then just disappeared! After a couple of days, my phone company sent me a message saying that number is a premium rate and I got charged for calling it. Seriously, block this number!

I've received calls from this number on four separate occasions, each time leaving a voice message claiming, “Your name is on a Government list for tax evasion, please ring 08443570445 to prevent any unwarranted charges.” Sounds like a complete con to me! - Caller: automated voice message

Got a call claiming to be from HMRC, but when I questioned them, they just ended the call. I rang back and told another guy there that his mate had just cut me off, which he already knew because he was right beside him. When I grilled this second person, they started making weird sounds over the phone. It was quite amusing - they clearly don’t have any proper lines to deal with situations like this, and can’t really handle being caught out.

Since early morning at around 7, they kept leaving me voice messages, about 5 of them. I decided to ring back as it seemed legit, especially since they sounded like they had my details. But when I did a quick search online, turns out it’s a scam. When I called them out on it, they kept muting me and passing me around to other people. Wouldn’t trust them at all.

This number keeps ringing me non stop for ages now. They’re really pushy and not very polite, always asking loads of questions about your house and money stuff. At one point they even pushed for my bank info, changing their story then acting all sorry asking for some digits, but in the end, you end up sharing your bank details without realising. Honestly, just block it and watch out for these lot.
