Like many others here, I got a call supposedly from HMRC which turned out to be a scam. I didn’t bother calling back but it still made me uneasy, even though I suspected it wasn’t legit. I’m relieved I looked it up and found out the truth. It must be scary for people who might be more vulnerable to stuff like this.

Just search ‘Action Fraud’ on Google, go to the police.uk website, and hit the ‘reporting’ button before following the steps.
