If I get a call from a number I don’t know, I usually check it out online first. If it looks fishy or like a scam, I block it straight away on my phone. After seeing the reviews here, that's another number I won’t be picking up and have blocked too. This site really does help a lot, cheers for that.

To be honest, if nobody bothered with cold calls, they’d probably disappear pretty quick. Trouble is, there’s always some who do respond, so these companies keep trying. Personally, I ignore all cold calls and junk mail, and I’m pretty careful to avoid using any business that’s pushed that stuff on me repeatedly. I’ve done it a few times now and it really puts me off.

Got a voicemail from an automated lady telling me to ring Dennis at HMRC and that I shouldn’t ignore the call or I’d need a lawyer - felt pretty intimidating. I've just had a rather dubious call from +448443510784, purportedly from HM Revenue. I was charged a hefty £10 for a ten-minute chat! It’s definitely a scam, considering that genuine HM Revenue numbers are toll-free. Stay alert, everyone!

Got a automated voicemail claiming it was from an "officer" at HMRC warning me about some urgent issue. They said I had to sort it out or I’d face legal trouble. Honestly, it’s super clear it’s a scam - do people really believe this stuff?!

I got a robocall on my mobile from 0844 351 0784, they left a voicemail pretending to be HMRC saying they'd take action if I didn't ring back. I'm based in Crowthorne, Berkshire. Such dodgy nonsense!
