Just got hit with a 67p fee after only 6 seconds of hearing some automated message warning me about charges for staying on a premium line! Seriously, 67p for a quick recorded message? Absolutely ridiculous! Did a bit of digging and found out the 0844 335 0550 number charges are split - there's an access charge which can go up to 67p per minute, plus a service fee that ranges from 0p to 7p per minute. Proper annoying!

If you’ve fallen victim to this scam or seen it, text the info over to 7726 as outlined on the police ACTION FRAUD phishing page. Should you have lost cash, make sure to fill out the crime report on the ACTION FRAUD website too. Avoid ringing 03001232040 since it’s not a free call. Also, get in touch with your phone network to challenge any unwanted charges. This number is just a newer twist on the old wangiri scam, where you might have ended up calling back a missed call from some mysterious number or hit a button after a robotic voice prompted you.

Can someone tell me who this could be? I noticed an extra charge of over £12 on my latest O2 bill linked to this number, but I have absolutely no clue who they are.

Just had a chap from Equifax on the phone, peddling credit card accounts like nobody's business. Quite the persistent fellow, I must say!

I received a call from this number linked to the Littlewoods catalogue; it cropped up right when I was highlighting a mix-up with an item that had been sent incorrectly.

EQUIFAX! What a right old swizz! Just another example of how some companies treat us Brits like mugs. Honestly, a hefty fine and some serious jail time for these crooks would do wonders. It’s high time the government stepped in and sorted out these dodgy firms that are taking advantage of honest folk!

This telephone number, just one of several associated with 'Equifax', appears to be yet another underhanded tactic by the company to swindle users out of their hard-earned cash, while providing absolutely no service in return, or even bothering to make the effort. This organisation employs a myriad of deceitful methods to take advantage of unsuspecting customers, and it's high time they were held accountable for their actions.

This is certainly one of many numbers linked to "Equifax," a company that operates in a most dubious fashion. They are quite brazen in their antics, aiming to con unsuspecting users out of their hard-earned cash, while their delivery service, if you can even call it that, seems to hardly lift a finger! This organisation resorts to all manner of deceptive practices that prey on the unknowing, leaving genuine customers high and dry, and they ought to be held accountable for their actions.

I've been trying incessantly to contact Equifax for what should be a straightforward task of finalising my online purchase of their credit report service. It's been nothing short of a nightmare! Each time I ring, I’m just met with an endless barrage of automated prompts-press this button or that-at the extortionate rate of 5p per minute. There's simply no chance to speak with a real person. To top it all off, they've had the audacity to charge me £8.50, yet I've received absolutely no assistance or service in return. Honestly, it feels like a right scam!

So, I've come across the number 020 7298 30XX, which is apparently a switchboard line. If you need to speak with customer service but wish to dodge those pricey 0844 calls, simply have a word with them. A brilliant little trick is to mention saynoto0870.com; it's a clever way to avoid unnecessary charges. Happy phoning!
