This isn't the DVLA, and unfortunately, we fell into their trap. I rang them up and ended up waiting on hold for a staggering 50 minutes with no response. Now I find myself with a £45 charge from my mobile network. What a nightmare!

Beware of this dodgy number posing as the DVLA! It’s a total ruse; they rarely pick up, and all they want is for you to remain on the line, raking in cash while you wait. It’s baffling how such firms manage to operate without consequence. Is there truly no means to get them banned from appearing on Google?

I've just spotted a rather hefty charge of £117.05 on my phone bill linked to a call made to this dubious number (08439033770) on the 15th of July, 2020. My provider, Transparent Telecom Ltd, seems to think I'm obligated to settle this bill! I can assure you, I didn't make any such call, especially one that supposedly lasted a staggering 72.1 minutes! Who on earth are these con artists?

I was advised to ring this number for a replacement DVLA log book. I ended up waiting on the phone for over 50 minutes without getting through! To top it off, it cost me £46. It’s absolutely appalling and feels like theft. I'm planning to dispute the charge with my phone company.

I suspect this is a con. I’ve received three calls from the same number, yet no one ever answers when I pick up. Now I’m left with charges for these calls. It’s quite frustrating!

I’ve no clue whose number this is, but I've been billed for it! How infuriating!
