Got conned for £47, they claimed to be from the DWP.

I called thinking it was the DWP and was told it'd cost 7p per minute, but they cut me off after only 9 seconds. Then I found out they charged me 21p! Proper cheeky.

Got a call saying my national number was involved in some fraud. They told me to press 1 to talk to someone. When connected, they wanted my address so I told them but left out the flat letter. I told them I’ve only had this number for 5 days and sounded a bit doubtful, then they just hung up straight away. I'm trying to get through to DWP now while typing this, but first checked the number on Google and found out it's a scam. Proper scumbags these lot. Glad I didn’t give them anything important. Watch out for 0843 903 3866, they’re dodgy.

I got charged £73 just to ring the DWP, which is an absolute joke. I only get £80 a week, so that call basically wiped out almost all my money. Proper disgrace if you ask me.

Got a call that claimed to be from DWP, said it was a free number but ended up costing me £80 for just two calls. Definitely a scam trying to trick people with a fake government link. Watch out!
