It purports to be affiliated with several banking institutions. I've lodged a complaint with my bank's fraud division. They seem to call me almost every day around the same time.

They purport to be "your bank", but don't be fooled-it's a complete load of nonsense.

In my experience, they insisted they represented Barclays when I inquired about “my bank”, but the truth is, I bank with TSB. Quite clearly a dodgy operation.

Typically, they’re linked to a UK business trying to pull in leads. I’m really keen to uncover which company is behind this operation so I can lodge a complaint directly with them, as it's the responsibility of the UK firm to ensure their contractors adhere to regulations. I must say, this is the tenth time I’ve received a call from this number this month alone! I’ve got an Android, so I can easily block all those numbers that start with 0843. But I can’t help but wonder - are there any legit businesses out there using these digits? Most of the time, it just rings and hangs up before I can answer. Try what I do - I like to inquire about the style and hue of their knickers. They usually hang up before I even finish my question! Another tactic that does the trick is to mention that I'm with UK Visas and that we've traced their number. Always makes me chuckle!

Received a call roughly twenty minutes back, didn’t pick up, but it jolted me awake. Quite infuriating, as I’m currently in Shanghai and the clock reads 3am.
