It just rang a couple of times then hung up. Definitely a premium rate number and looks like a total scam to me.

I can’t stand it when they call just to hang up straight away. What’s even the point?

0843 832 5589 Another scammer using a cloned number - sad bunch really. What a waste of time you lot have got. I just chuckle thinking about what a joke your future looks like. Do yourself a favour and get a proper job or stop pestering people, you muppets.

I got a call that just buzzed twice and then cut off, probably trying to get me to ring back. Don’t fall for it, it’s a premium number and will charge you loads!

Got a couple of missed calls from this number today, but no voicemail or anything. Looks like it might be one of those expensive premium numbers? Not planning to ring back, cheers.

Just had two calls from the number 0843 832 0155. Each time, they hung up before I had a chance to respond, and it seems like they're hoping you'll return the call, racking up charges at their premium rate. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

I've been getting these incessant automated calls from THI, urging me to sort out my PPI claims. It's become a bit of a nuisance, as they seem to ring me every week without fail!

I received a call on my mobile from this number at 15:29 on the 18th of November. I have a hunch it’s been in touch previously. It only rings three times before my phone completely shuts down, which means I have to power it back on just to check my missed calls. Isn’t that a bit dodgy? Why hasn’t OFFCOM taken action against these kinds of calls yet?

Received a call earlier today, and it was just a pre-recorded spiel claiming I was due a refund from my bank. They said to press 5 for more info... and that’s precisely when I decided to end the call!

I’m quite fed up with nuisance calls, and I’ve received one from this number as well.

I've had my fair share of calls from numbers beginning with 08438201, particularly those ending in 14, 41, 55, 56, or any other pair of digits for that matter. It's rather curious, I must say. I've also noticed a bunch of similar calls from numbers that kick off with 0845286, and they often wrap up with endings like 2822, 3313, 3322, 5281, 5275, or 5283. Quite the variety!

I just got my very first call on this shiny new phone of mine! It makes me think that the phone provider is somehow tipping them off. I've taken to adding all those nuisance numbers to my contacts and tagging them as 'SPAM' to remind myself not to answer. It’s quite the lengthy list, I must say!

I’m absolutely fed up with these incessant calls; it’s a complete nuisance for everyone involved. I've stopped picking up entirely, but it baffles me how they’ve managed to get hold of my number, as I certainly don't share it with just anyone. It seems they must be dialling random digits in hopes of finding someone to bother. Utterly ridiculous!

I keep getting these persistent automated calls urging me to make a claim for PPI. It feels like I hear from them every single week!

It’s always the same story, isn’t it? One moment it’s this number, the next it’s that one. Seems they’re constantly swapping digits! Best just to ignore them altogether, I’d say.

I received a voicemail instructing me to press 9 if I wished to unsubscribe from some reminder service. Foolishly, I decided to ring them back... only to be met with an automated message. Total scam! Honestly, I can’t believe I let myself be duped like that! 😕

I received a peculiar automated call regarding reclaiming mis-sold PPI from HSBC. I pressed 5 to get additional information, and then a rather jittery young chap launched into an excessively rapid monologue, inquiring if I had obtained debit cards, mortgages, or loans over the last decade. When I requested more clarification, he abruptly raised his voice, pressing me for a response to his earlier question. I tried to calm him down, asking him to take a breath, and to my surprise, he simply disconnected! Seems like a right dodgy operation to me!

I receive calls from this number every week, but I've never answered any of them. It's quite frustrating! Every time my phone rings, I have to pull over and halt the car, which is just a hassle. Any advice on how to block these calls would be much appreciated. My phone is a basic, inexpensive model from Vodafone.

I received a rather puzzling message from this number, hinting that I had overlooked a 'reminder' of sorts. It was clear they were wanting me to ring them back, but I chose not to engage. I've now added the number to my block list.

Honestly, it’s quite disheartening to see folks indulging in such activities. It’s a pity that some choose to profit from unsuspecting individuals rather than putting their efforts into something constructive. Surely, there are far more honourable ways to make a living. Just a thought - how about finding a genuine path for yourselves? 🙄

I’ve got two mobile phones now! One’s a pay-as-you-go, which I reluctantly hand out to businesses I have to engage with, while the other is just for my nearest and dearest-no bother there at all. It's a right pain that I’ve ended up on some annoying mailing list. If it’s anything important, I reckon they’ll drop me a line instead of calling. So honestly, if you’re frivolously ringing me, don’t expect a response!

I seem to be plagued by these absolute numpties ringing me on a daily basis. It’s incredibly frustrating as the so-called solutions to block them are utterly useless. I’ve made a note of the company responsible, and I fully intend to charge them for the inconvenience they’re causing me.

I received a voicemail from them stating that my account has been terminated and that I should ring them to sort out my refund. They’ve now been added to my blocked contacts, and I certainly won’t be giving them a call!

I keep receiving calls from all sorts of numbers purporting to be from HSBC, Midland, and Lloyds. I've tried pressing 9 to opt out, but that doesn't seem to do anything. These calls often come through around 5 to 6 in the evening. It’s becoming quite bothersome!

I've noticed that as soon as I say something, an automated message kicks in. Nowadays, I just stay quiet on the line, hoping they'll rack up some charges instead. It seems to disconnect after about 15 seconds or so.

Received a missed call from this digit. Shortly after, I received a message from +447463979061 saying: "Important notice! We've attempted to reach you. It’s crucial that we have a conversation today. Please ring 08445715193 and mention your reference number 110991. Thank you." I won’t be giving them a ring. If it were genuinely urgent, I’d have expected a voicemail or at the very least a more informative text about the matter. Looks like a scam to me.

I'm receiving incessant cold calls from this number. I managed to speak to a chap who had a distinct South African accent, and I requested him to remove my details from their list. To my annoyance, he was quite obnoxious, outright refused my request, had the audacity to chuckle, and then cut the line. These callers really know how to push my buttons!
