This particular number seems to bombard our business with calls, ringing a minimum of twice each hour. It dials twice, pauses for a bit, then suddenly calls four times in a row before going silent again. The odd thing is, when you press 5 to get through to someone, they just hang up as soon as you voice your annoyance. If you attempt to opt out by pressing 9, lo and behold, another number starts troubling us! There's no chance I'll ever consider opening an account with Barclays if this is the kind of conduct they endorse. Sadly, it doesn't seem to faze them in the slightest!

I received a call from Barclays yesterday after my attempt to make an online payment was blocked-apparently, they needed to verify it was indeed me using the card. It strikes me as odd because I haven't encountered any issues in ages, and this call seemed rather suspicious. I suspect that Barclays might be peddling customer details.
