Investing in a caller ID device could also be quite handy. If you happen to answer a telemarketer's call, they'll find out that your number is live, and you could end up on a list where they sell your details to other pesky callers!

I received a recorded message regarding life insurance. I've had a handful of similar calls over the past few months, and they were typically from a firm called Pension Review Team. I can't definitively say this number is connected to them, but it wouldn't astonish me in the slightest if it were.

Furthermore, I would advise against returning the call, as it appears to be a premium rate number-costs could rack up alarmingly fast.

Yet again, I’ve received a call from this number! Over the past few months, I’ve been inundated with calls from PPI firms. Honestly, I’m starting to think about getting a new phone number entirely!

I’d advise steering clear of this number and absolutely refrain from ringing them back, as it’s an expensive rate line.

I received a rather annoying automated call from a firm going by the name of BCB Savings. I’d advise against picking up if you haven't already, as since I answered, they've been pestering me with calls non-stop!
