I called for some job advice and ended up paying £36.00. The woman I spoke to kept me waiting on hold forever, then disappeared completely. I honestly thought I was speaking to acas. What a total rip-off!

Sounds like a dodgy outfit to me - they claim to be Acas and do connect you there, but they want way more money than you’d pay going straight. You’ll often find tiny writing somewhere admitting they’re a third party and not actually linked to Acas.

i called this number thinking it was free but it’s actually from ACAS and ended up costing me more than £29! there was no heads up about any charges which is really dodgy if you ask me. total rip off!
