I've attempted to get in touch with the tax credits department on numerous occasions. To make matters worse, I found a £21.00 fee added to my bill just for calling them. Absolutely outrageous and a complete rip-off!

Dialling this number is an absolute rip-off! It’s a whopping 17 pence per minute, and if you find yourself on hold for ages, say 47 minutes, you'll be shelling out around £7. The government is really taking advantage of us here!
