They’ve been ringing my mobile loads of times ever since I filled in an online survey. When I picked up the first time, they asked if I’d be interested in a paper at a really cheap price. After going round in circles a few times, I told them straight in a firm tone, “You’re not actually listening, just reading from your script.” I told them not to be offended but to stop calling me, basically Foxtrot Oscar. The calls stopped for a bit but have been ringing me at least twice daily since last Wednesday. Just had one this morning at 11:30am (GMT).

Somebody rang me trying to flog a magazine subscription. I said I’m already signed up with the Telegraph, then they started asking for my bank details. That’s when I realised it was dodgy and just hung up straight away.

I reckon its linked to one of those online surveys that appear after you do one of them questionnaires on the net. They must get your phone number and then try to peddle you stuff like maybe a newspaper subscription or summat. Im a bit cautious since I'm hard of hearing, and they just wont send a text or an email which would honestly make more sense.

Got a call yesterday evening, the person was really pushy about getting me to sign up for a Daily Telegraph subscription. Even though I kept saying NO, they just wouldn’t let it drop. The offer sounded quite good but I still didn’t go for it.

Someone I don't recognise answered when I said hi, then asked for a person who aint linked to my number. When I told them no one by that name is here, they just hung up. My phone shows they've called loads of times, so they obviously dont pay attention to what folks say. Total time wasters, should be blocked straight away.

They’ve rang me about 8 times over the past week and a half. I just let the answerphone pick up when I don’t recognise the number and they always hang up right after the beep. Definitely some kind of scam or pushy sales call, really annoying how often they keep doing it.
