Looks like its those magazine people calling me again, just decided to block them on my phone.

They’ve been calling quite a bit recently, I reckon my lodger signed up for some horse magazine or something. I picked up once and the person wanted to speak to her, but I told them she was at work. I get so many spam calls I hardly ever pick up my landline anymore - my mates and family just ring my mobile now. It’s daft, really. I remember once I heard the phone ring when I was at the far end of my 200-foot garden, and I sprinted all the way back just to answer - only to find out it was some kitchen salesman. Properly annoyed, that was!

they’re just trying to get you to sign up again for a magazine like golf monthly that you might’ve had before, or maybe get you to start a new one. either way, it’s pretty annoying.

If it’s Bauer, they’re alright, but if you answer, they might try to sell you a magazine subscription that’s free for the first three months. However, you’d actually have to pay £1 and provide your bank details like sort code and account number. I’ve gone through it before and if you don’t want the mag after, you can just cancel the direct debit, they say it’s perfectly fine to do so. It’s basically just a promo. Hope this info is useful.
