Rang today to chat with my missus but no luck. Then they called back saying she’d won some sort of competition prize, but they wouldn’t let me speak to her at all. Quite odd really.

Someone rang asking for me, saying I signed up for a competition on Autoexpress and offering 6 issues for a quid. There was loads of background noise, making it tricky to catch everything - seemed like they were trying to get me to agree to something sneaky. Surely if I’d won a competition, they wouldn’t ask for bank details before sending a confirmation by post? Told them to take my number off their list. Best to avoid them.

They rang me two times today, and when I finally picked up the second call, I told them they were calling the local police. They didn’t say a word after that and just cut the call!

Picked up the phone and they just dropped the call straight away. Could hear voices like there was a bunch of people chatting in the background. Blocked them immediately.

They called me claiming I’d won some kind of contest, asked for my address, and then wanted cash. When I said no thanks, they started banging on about me having agreed to something, which is complete nonsense.

Got a call asking for Mr. Rxxxx, I told them that’s not possible since he passed away over a decade ago. Then they asked if I was Miss Rxxxx, and I corrected them that I’m Mrs. They wanted to know if I’d ever taken part in some Autoexpress competition, to which I replied no. Next, they asked if I read any magazines, again I said no. After that, they just thanked me and ended the call. I’ve blocked this number on my BT now!

Wasn't able to pick up since I was driving when the call came through. This is like the fourth time I've had a number ring me without having got my contact from legit means. I'm guessing it's about injury claims, PPI or some insurance stuff. Next time they call, I warn them I'll report to the cops for stalking, harassment, threatening behaviour and unlawfully obtaining my number. Seems to do the trick.
