I’ve dealt with Aditus for magazine subs for over a year now and honestly, they’ve been perfectly alright. Never had any trouble at all. I’ve seen others mention problems cancelling trial offers, but I just stop the direct debit from my bank rather than going through Aditus directly, and that’s worked fine for me. Never had any issues with charges after the trial ended.

Don’t fall for their talk, they’re just after your money. Some older folks might not fully get what’s going on and end up agreeing to everything. Utter scam!!!

This is Shoe Lane Press, I signed up for a £1 trial but cancelled straight away, yet they still charged me nearly £90 for three puzzle books! Thankfully my bank gave me the money back. I'm still getting persistent calls even after I told them to remove me from their list. I'd say be careful with them - could cost you quite a bit if you don't watch out.

This number has called me like 5 times today... Seriously, it’s Sunday! They’re trying to get me to sign up for some "free" magazine subscription, supposed to be for one I might like if it's one they do. I told them “are you having a laugh? I’m nearly blind here!” They said sorry and that I’d be taken off their list. That was 9 months ago and I've had about 50 calls since then. Why aren’t these muppets getting prosecuted for harassment? I live over 100 miles away from my elderly parents who aren’t well, so changing my landline just isn’t an option.

Got a call again today, so I picked up this time and all I got was “We tried reaching you from AAAAAAAAAA, we’ll call again later?” I’m disabled and have the TPS on too! I looked up the number and turns out it was a scam I fell for last year. The person on the phone claimed they were from Bauer Media. Didn’t like the idea of being signed up for loads of subscriptions, so I ended up cancelling everything, including the extra ones they tried to get me to agree to. Took ages to sort it all out but I managed to cancel without paying. I even got in touch with Bauer Media and they said they’d never heard of those people. Can’t remember the name they gave me now.
