Called a Cunard reservations number and was shocked it was a premium rate. They really ought to have a freephone instead.

I must admit, I wasn't fully aware, but when I sought assistance for booking a Cunard cruise, I ended up dialling this number. At no point was it indicated that this was a premium rate call. I ended up shelling out £18 for a mere 20-minute conversation. While the advice I received was genuinely helpful, I can’t shake off the feeling of being fleeced given the steep charges. It seems Cunard is rather adept at quietly raking in every penny from unsuspecting customers like me on their cruises, and I probably won’t realise the extent of what they’ve pilfered until I pore over my phone bill back home. I only came to learn about Cunard's little stunt when I scrutinised my bill. Quite crafty, Cunard! Ah well, my own fault, really! I'll certainly be spreading the word among my fellow cruisers to be ever so vigilant with both their wallets and their wits when dealing with Cunard.
