My bank handed me this number as the source of a couple of dodgy direct debits I didn't approve. But when I entered it in my phone, it showed up as a premium rate one. I've tried three other mobiles and none showed as premium, so I'm convinced this premium number is linked to the scammers.

My bank gave me this number to track down a guy named Paul Devereaux, who claimed to be with H3G and put a direct debit on my account for a phone ending in 1771. The address linked to it is 123 Street (I know, sounds dodgy!) in Glasgow. I've been unknowingly paying this for nearly a year because I rarely look over my direct debits. I've never shared my bank info with anyone, but somehow he got hold of it. Make sure you keep an eye on your direct debits! I never imagined I'd fall for something like this!

I never actually got a call from them, but £85 has gone missing from my bank account. After checking with my bank, they traced the payment back to this number and a person called Paul Devereaux. Sounds like a proper scam to me.

Watch out for Direct Debits linked to banks, like one I found from Paul Devereaux at HG3 collections. A DD appeared on my account and after about a month, they withdrew £251 without warning. If you spot anything like this, make sure to block it straight away!

Since May 2021, I’ve noticed cash disappearing from my bank due to a direct debit supposedly linked to h3g. But when I checked with h3g, they said the only direct debit they had was my usual one, nothing else. My bank then pointed me to this number 08433 733333 and mentioned a bloke named Paul Devereaux. I’m baffled how he got a direct debit arranged to his account and who on earth he even is!

Honestly, no clue who that was since they didn’t bother to leave any voicemail or anything. Like, what sort of company in the UK rings you and then just leaves you hanging without a message? Feels like it might’ve been some automated robot just testing numbers or something like that.

Next time, be sure to dial 333 if you want to reach a three-digit number. Unfortunately, the number I rang turned out to be a premium rate line, and I had no idea it would cost me £28 for just 10 minutes. Quite the shock to the wallet, I must say!

this number is really outdated for three UK support. they changed it long ago to 333 now. if you want a refund or something, ring 3 directly and ask them. you mightve accidentally dialled here but it probably forwards you thru, still, better to have the latest number saved on your phone.

On the 19th of October 2018, I found a charge of more than £20 for a call to this number, even though I never dialled it. The number doesn't even show up on the detailed bill from my phone provider. I'm pretty annoyed about this and will definitely be contacting my phone company to sort it out.
