I got charged way more than I should by tesco mobile, so I looked into it and saw that this weird number 08432895101 had been called from my phone a few times - like 5 seconds, 3 seconds and even 10 seconds, all early morning. It ended up costing me 96p. Not sure if Tesco mobile is messing around or if some dodgy app from the android store is behind it. Just a heads up, always double check your tesco mobile bills, they can sneak these charges in.

Tesco Mobile charged me way too much without reason. When I looked into the odd number 08432895101, I saw calls from my phone lasting just a few seconds - like 5 seconds, then 3 seconds, then 10 seconds - all early in the morning, about 5 times, and it added up to 96p. I’m thinking either Tesco Mobile is messing about or one of the apps I downloaded from the Android store is the culprit. Honestly, be careful with Tesco Mobile and always double-check your bills.

I received a charge of £22 from Plus Net for a call that lasted 30 minutes, but I don’t recall ever using that tracking number. The call occurred before 7 in the morning, which seems a bit odd to me.

Hello! I've just gotten a message from number 68 989 about potential fraud linked to my Barclays account. It mentioned a transfer of £3600 to DD Ltd and instructed me to reply with 'Y' if I approved, or to ring 0843 289 5101 if I didn't. This feels quite dodgy to me!

i got a txt saying to ring barclays fraud on 0843 289 5101 about some transfer they said was on my account. so i looked up the real barclays fraud contact on their official website and called that instead. they took some info from me, said everything was fine with my account, and told me to just ignore that message and delete it.

I got that exact message too, seems like a classic scam to me. From what I worked out, the number might be one of those premium line things, so I guess that’s how they’re cashing in.

I got a text asking me to ring back if I’d sent £3600 through Western Union. When I dialled the number, I was stuck on hold for nearly 20 minutes, hearing "you are number one in the queue, wait time 1 hour 20 minutes" over and over. After that, I called Western Union using a different number and they told me there was no record of any such transaction under my name.
