I just figured out this number is totally dodgy. Best to ignore it altogether.

So there's this scam going around where they pretend to be call blockers. Apparently, they're based in Wales and say they're registered here in the UK, but all the cash they rip off ends up going through some business in San Francisco. Just let them know you've caught onto their trick.

So this lot say they’re call blockers, but really they’re just con artists. I caught on pretty fast that it was a scam. They want you to fill out a form on their website, and even though I ended up paying at first, I managed to cancel the transaction and I’m getting my money back. To be safe, I also blocked my card straight away. Seriously, watch out - there’s loads of dodgy people like this around. The more folks share their stories online, the better chance we’ve got of stopping them.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Call Lockers, but it was a total scam. Watch out for these dodgy numbers!

Back in November 2017, I parted with some cash for the number 08432894598, but I've been unable to reach the so-called call blocker since then. I had a rather casual phone chat with a woman who mentioned she'd charged me fifty quid for this supposed service in 2018. I've since put a stop to the direct debit.

I entered into an agreement with Callblockers and had it renewed back in November 2017. Unfortunately, I've discovered that their email doesn’t seem to work, as I receive a standard message instructing me to provide my name and number, promising a callback. Quite frustrating, really!
