Just gotten comfy to enjoy a film when I received a call on our business line, which is listed with the Telephone Preference Service. It was an automated message attempting to pitch a supposedly better deal than BT. We hung up shortly after it droned on for what felt like an eternity-45 minutes, if you can believe it! These callers really should refrain from disturbing folks in the morning. Don’t they realise just how annoying this is? Whatever it is they're trying to push, I can't imagine anyone being tempted-even if it was free! This sort of thing has spiralled out of control, and it’s safe to say that everyone is getting pretty weary of it all.

It seems that Freedom Telecom Limited has become quite the nuisance, persistently ringing me. I’ve discovered they’ve obtained my number through their network partner, Core Telecom Ltd. Interestingly, both companies list the same Registered Office - Mazhar House, located at 48 Bradford Road, Stanningley, Leeds, LS28 6DD. A quick look on Google Maps reveals what appears to be an old derelict building, complete with a sign for the England Basketball Association adorning the entrance. It could be that the map information is rather outdated!

It’s quite frustrating and somewhat concerning, isn’t it? When you’re anticipating important phone calls and then get nothing but silence or no response. Who are these mysterious callers, really? It leaves one feeling rather on edge!

These callers are absolutely driving us round the bend! Our landline is constantly ringing with these pestering nuisances. They’ve been using various numbers that all begin similarly and then finish with 014, 013, or 018. Honestly, just ignore the phone when these time-wasters ring you up! I highly recommend registering with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) in the UK. It can take about 28 days for your number to be added to the list where these lot should not be contacting you. When they do, they’re breaking the rules, and you can report them, which could lead to hefty fines. Best of luck to everyone dealing with this!

Whenever we get these random hang-up calls, we usually just call back and try to get ourselves removed from their lists. Received a call from this number on the 2nd of October at 1:08 PM. Shortly after picking up, I was met with a pre-recorded message urging me to press a button to connect with an advisor. Eventually, I ended up chatting with a lady who informed me that she was representing The Debt Helpline. However, she couldn't clarify the purpose of their call. Steer clear of answering calls from this number! Honestly, I wouldn’t waste my time picking up any phone calls from 0843. In my experience, they’re almost always just spam or unwanted calls from debt collectors after cash you don’t even owe. A staggering 99.9% of these calls are nothing but nuisances!

They specialise in data protection and can help uphold your right to privacy. We just had a chat with Ofcom, and they mentioned that if you're still encountering problems, it's worth reaching out to the ICO and requesting an investigation into the company causing you grief.
