The number 08432764014 buzzed our home phone on the 24th of May 2010 at about a quarter past one. Today, the 23rd of June 2010, they decided to try their luck again, ringing us at half past one. We answered, but to our utter annoyance, there was silence on the other end! Absolutely maddening!!!

I received a call from this number around 11 in the morning, but I chose not to pick up. It’s odd, as people who are familiar with us typically reach out on our mobiles afterwards. We've been getting calls late at night too, accompanied by an automated message! As soon as we realise it's nonsense, we hang up straight away. Cheers, J.

We picked up the phone only to be greeted by the sounds of Bob Dylan blaring in the background, and before we could say anything, the other party hung up. It seems like they're lacking in decent taste, to say the least. A firm 'do one and don’t bother calling again' usually does the trick!

This number rings us every single day, what an absolute nuisance! We keep getting these automated messages left on our voicemail from a woman talking about some mysterious credit card charges. It's such a bother!

We opted not to respond, so we're in the dark regarding the identity of this caller. Thank goodness for call screening, but it's still a bit of a bother, especially since we've been ex-directory and have only just changed our number. It seems to us that these annoying "hit-or-miss" firms are merely concocting random combinations of digits. When it’s truly important, you'd think they’d leave a message! If not, best just to ignore the call (and mute the ringer when need be).

We've recently received a call from this number too, relating to debts with Virgin Mobile. It's rather perplexing, as we've only just acquired our number through Plusnet, being on the ex-directory list. Yet, these individuals somehow managed to get hold of it! If you fancy giving them a ring back, you have the option to refuse any further marketing calls. Hope that’s of help to someone! :)

This number gave us a buzz at 11 in the morning, but we decided not to pick up. We’ve noticed that whenever it’s someone familiar, they tend to ring our mobiles later on. Quite annoying, really! We keep getting calls in the dead of night, only to find it’s some automated message. As soon as we realise, we hang up without a moment’s hesitation. J

Typically, we tend to brush off these calls, but I'm quite tempted to respond in a professional manner, letting them know this number is reserved for business use. It’s becoming quite infuriating, as we're now fielding three or more calls a day from these pesky marketing firms-it's nearly driving us bonkers! Brilliant suggestion you've made. I often have a squint at the missed calls using 1471, and this number keeps cropping up repeatedly. We receive a good number of these pesky 08 calls, so we usually let them ring through before checking the details later on via 1471. These calls are becoming quite the nuisance!

I received a call from 08432 764014 around lunch time today. I let it go to voicemail, but they didn’t leave a message. When I answer such calls, I usually say, “Apologies, this is a business line, please remove us from your calling list.” Usually, they will apologise and just hang up. I've heard they shouldn't be bothering businesses, and this method seems to work well for getting rid of them swiftly. At the very least, it helps keep your number off their lists!

Absolutely, we've received a call from this number too, regarding some debts linked to Virgin Mobile credit collections. Oddly enough, we recently transitioned to Plusnet and are on the ex-directory list, yet somehow they've managed to get hold of our number. It's astonishing how around 99.9% of those 0843 numbers turn out to be nothing but spam from pesky callers. When it truly matters, these individuals somehow manage to reach out. Honestly, it’s not worth your time even responding to any 0843 calls - just steer clear!

Absolutely, we received a call from this number as well. It's clearly one of those pestering firms. I’m totally exhausted from receiving these incessant calls; it feels like we're bombarded with nearly ten a day! It's almost a certainty that it's either a company or some of those ridiculous pre-recorded messages that seem to come through at all hours.
