There’s no wrongdoing here at all - what exactly do you suggest the authorities should do?

I just received a rather curious phone call from someone named Isaac Schulzaman, who apparently hails from India. Let's just say he struggled a bit with his own name! This chap was asking for remote access to my computer, and when I mentioned that I was one-handed, he seemed baffled - can’t say I blame him, it’s not easy to type with one hand, is it? When I suggested my wife might give him a ring back, he handed over this phone number, claiming to be from Reading. Earlier, I had another call from 0344 800 2400. I can't help but wonder, where's the police when you need them? Wouldn't it be lovely if they actually did some proper investigating instead of just sitting back collecting fines? Honestly, it makes me quite irate! I daresay some people might feel the urge to take matters into their own hands if this keeps up!

I've received a few phone calls this week that are definitely scams. My approach is to keep them on the line for as long as possible just to toy with them and waste their time. If they're talking to me, they're not able to trick someone who could actually be fooled by their tricks. During one call, they attempted to make me run 'eventvwr', which is meant to open the event viewer and show me the supposed errors in my computer's log file. These errors are completely normal, but they falsely claim that they indicate a PC infection. They also tried to direct me to their website, 'www.fastheal.net', which is quite alarming because visiting the site would prompt them to deceive you into clicking a button that installs the SpySheriff Malware on your computer! These individuals are truly awful and unethical.

In an attempt to save time, I generously provided Michael with all of my banking passcodes, hoping that we would establish a harmonious relationship. However, it became apparent that our compatibility was lacking. Although I must admit that Michael's convincing manner on the call leads me to believe that he may achieve great success in deceiving others.

They keep ringing me from early morning, like 7am or so, and just won’t take no for an answer. I've told them I don’t own a computer, but they just won’t let it go. It’s really annoying.

I recently received a phone call from an individual who identified himself as Sam Welton. He claimed to be from the maintenance department of Microsoft Windows and informed me that someone was trying to hack into my computer. He urged me to open my computer so he could guide me on how to prevent this hacking attempt. In order to confirm his authenticity, I requested him to provide evidence that he truly belonged to the maintenance department of Microsoft Windows. To support his claim, he provided me with a contact number to validate his identity. Fortunately, I decided to verify this information online, where I discovered that it was indeed a scam.

It is important not to divulge any personal information to this individual. Instead, it would be appropriate to jokingly suggest that he repeatedly puts his head into a bucket of water three times and withdraws it twice.

Today, I received a call from a gentleman who identified himself as a representative from Microsoft Technical. He claimed that if I did not call back within 30 minutes, my computer would be hacked. However, when I asked for his or his manager's name, he refused to provide it and grew agitated when I suggested contacting Microsoft directly using a different number.

I received a fraudulent call from an individual, who pretended to be a member of the Microsoft Technical Department in Leicestershire. The person claimed that my computer was at risk of being hacked and rendered useless within the next 30 minutes if I didn't promptly contact them at the number 08081893370. They became hostile when I requested their name or their manager's name, and even more so when I suggested verifying the legitimacy of their call by contacting Microsoft directly. It is concerning that this caller continues to reach out despite our number being withheld. I kindly request that appropriate action be taken regarding this matter.

These individuals are dishonest. They attempt to coerce you into making a £10 payment in order to resolve an issue on your computer, such as a startup password that they themselves have created. They claim to represent Microsoft Leicester; however, it is important to note that Microsoft does not have an office in Leicester, and even if they did, they would not contact you in this manner.

At 7:50 am, I received a phone call from someone named Veronica who claimed to be from Microsoft, speaking with an Asian accent. She informed me that hackers were attempting to access my computer but assured me that she could solve the problem. However, I requested to call her back and was provided with the number 0808 1893370. I have no intention of wasting my time making a telephone call.

I received a call this morning from a man named Ronnie Williams, who had an Asian accent and claimed to be from Microsoft. I politely mentioned that I was busy at the moment, but he insisted that I call him back at 08081893370. However, he wouldn't stop talking and continued to insist that my computer was in danger. Frustrated by the conversation, I eventually hung up. I attempted to retrieve the caller's number using the "1471" feature, but unfortunately, the real number was withheld. I can't help but wonder if the police should establish genuine bank accounts as bait to catch individuals like Ronnie who engage in fraudulent activities. This could potentially be an effective method to expose these scammers.

I just received a phone call from the same number and a man named Peter Wilson. He had the exact same message as before. Out of curiosity, I inquired about the company he was representing and he claimed it was Ask Expert, located in Leicester. It's blatantly clear that this is a scam. It's truly appalling that he is still managing to deceive people.

I received a call today from the number 19053855083, with the person on the other end claiming to be from Microsoft. As usual, their accent was quite thick. In order to waste their time, I pretended that I was unable to turn on my computer. Interestingly, I even managed to get them to provide me with a callback number, which turned out to be the same one they called me from.

I recently experienced a situation where I received persistent and disturbing phone calls from a person named James Austin who claimed to be from the maintenance department of Microsoft Windows. He insisted that someone was attempting to hack into my computer and offered to guide me through steps to prevent it. However, I consistently refused his requests. To address this issue, I have reported the scam to both the Merseyside Police and the National Intelligence Fraud Squad based in London. They are currently investigating the matter and have assured me that it is indeed a scam. It is concerning to learn that such scams are designed to gain access to our online accounts.

I received a phone call today from a number. The person claimed to be called Peter from Apple security and informed me that my computer was being used by Chinese individuals for gambling purposes. I asked for a telephone number to verify if the call was genuine. I was provided with the aforementioned number, and when I looked it up on the internet, I found numerous concerns regarding scams associated with it. I did not actually make a call to the given number, but the person called me again after 30 minutes. When I refused to engage in further conversation, he became quite threatening and warned that he would shut down my computer. I stated that I would report this to the police, to which he casually replied that I should go ahead. It's truly unpleasant dealing with such unscrupulous individuals.

Earlier this morning, my mother received a call on her phone with the number 05198847169. The caller claimed to be from "Microsoft Tech Support" and warned her that her laptop was at risk of being hacked. They insisted that she should follow their instructions to prevent the hackers. Interestingly, they dodged the question when asked how they obtained her house number. They did mention that they possessed the registry number of her PC but refused to provide it. It is advisable to avoid answering any calls from these two numbers. If you do happen to receive such a call, promptly report it or threaten to involve the police.

I recently fell victim to what seems to be a deceitful scam. A group posing as representatives of Microsoft contacted me, urging me to install certain software. I soon realised it was a malicious program, and then they had the audacity to try to charge me for its removal. It’s infuriating how these scammers operate!
