8 yearsI experienced a similar predicament not so long ago, but in my case, it was linked to linktrust.com. The incident occurred back in June, and only recently did I catch on to it. They seemed to have a knack for deducting payments from my account every two months without fail. Interestingly enough, I can't even get this number to connect when I try to ring it. What an absolute bother!8 yearsThis morning, I awoke to find an unfamiliar charge on my bank statement, listed as "OnlineAgree.com." Upon reaching out to my bank for clarification, I was informed that they'd actually debited five payments of the same amount since July of the previous year, roughly every couple of months. They've since put a stop to my card and are dispatching a replacement, while also liaising with the Retail Dispute Team to halt any further transactions. I managed to get in touch with ADL, but they couldn’t locate my account just using my email, and bizarrely, they requested my bank details to assist in their search. That felt rather dodgy, so I promptly ended the call! Now, I suppose I’ll wait to see if any correspondence arrives in the post, though I won’t hold my breath. Sadly, I might have to write off those five months of payments as a lesson learned.Retail Dispute TeamADL9 yearsI've noticed two charges on my bank statement from HELPAREA.ORG - a recurring Visa transaction. The first was for just 90 pence, and then five days later, another one for £29 popped up. I did a quick search on the name and number involved and discovered it’s linked to fraudulent activity. Just a heads up, everyone - stay vigilant!HELPAREAORG9 yearsHello there, I'm Robert Owen. I recently received an email from ADL services stating that I needed to cancel an account within three days. To be honest, I've never even heard of them, let alone opened any account. I've sent a response back stating as much. Curiously, when I looked up the phone number provided, it led me to this site. Cheers, Robert.Robert OwenADLRobert10 yearsIt's clearly a scam, as they're pretending to be DVLA officials. One must wonder why the authorities haven't taken action against this!DVLA10 yearsCan anyone shed some light on the owner of this number?10 yearsI’ve uncovered that this phone number is linked to Legalliance, a dubious company masquerading as the DVLA online. They’ll ding you 90 pence just to send you the DVLA application form, which you can easily obtain at no charge. But that’s not where the fun ends-oh no! They also hit you with a £39 fee for so-called "ongoing services," and brace yourself, this fee recurs every couple of months! Stay well clear of this lot; they’re a right nuisance!LegallianceDVLA10 yearsApologies, but there’s a fee of £49, and then it continues at £49 every couple of months!Submit Your Own Report (0808 178 8969)
