Phone number ☎️ 08081788969 👆 is reported as linked to a dubious service that impersonates official organisations like the DVLA, often charging users for free documents and recurring fees every couple of months without clear consent. Many users have noticed unauthorised payments over several months, with some unable to reach the number directly or encountering suspicious requests for personal banking details. The charges typically include an initial fee followed by repeated deductions, prompting concerns over fraudulent activity. Victims advise caution, as the company involved may use misleading tactics, and stopping payments through the bank has been necessary for some. It is strongly recommended to check statements carefully and report any unauthorised transactions promptly.

8 yearsI just found out the same thing happened to me, but the site linked was linktrust.com. It was from back in June and I only caught it now. They kept charging me every couple of months without me realising. Also, I can’t even get a call to go through when I try this number.9 yearsThis morning I spotted a withdrawal from my bank account that I didn’t recognise - it showed up as "OnlineAgree.com". After getting in touch with my bank, they told me that there have actually been 5 payments of the same amount taken since July last year, roughly every couple of months. They’ve cancelled my card and are sending a replacement, plus they contacted the Retail Dispute Team who have stopped any new transactions going through. I rang ADL, but they couldn’t find me using my email and then asked for my bank details to check, which felt quite dodgy, so I just ended the call. I’ll keep an eye on any future activity but don’t expect much. I guess I might have to accept those 5 payments as a lesson learned.Retail Dispute TeamADL9 yearsGot a couple of payments from my bank tagged as HELPAREA.ORG - Recurring Visa Transaction. The first one was just 90p, then five days later, £29 went off my account without me knowing. I looked up the name and number online and discovered it’s a scam... watch out!HELPAREAORG10 yearsHello, I’m Robert Owen. Out of the blue, I received an email from a company called ADL Services claiming I had three days left to cancel some kind of account. The strange thing is, I’ve never dealt with them before or signed up for anything. I replied to say I don’t have any account with them. When I looked up the phone number they gave, it took me straight to your site. Cheers, RobertRobert OwenADLRobert10 yearsThey're pretending to be from the DVLA, which is totally dodgy. How come the government hasn't cracked down on this yet? Feels like such a scam.DVLA10 yearsCan anyone shed some light on the owner of this number?11 yearsBeware this number - it’s linked to Legalliance, a company that pretends to be the DVLA online. They’ll hit you with a 90p fee just to send a DVLA application form, which is actually free if you get it straight from the source. After that, they slap on £39 for some supposed “ongoing services” that keep charging you every couple of months. Honestly, steer clear of these dodgy charges!LegallianceDVLA11 yearsHeads up, they hit you with £49 initially and then keep charging £49 every couple of months! Quite annoying, really.Submit Your Own Report (0808 178 8969)
